Welcome to our event where we would like to talk to young people about databases and their importance.

Databases make it easier for us to log in to our favorite apps. They help us use an app or website more smoothly by storing information about our behavior and much more. Databases are essential for companies, which is why they always need competent employees who are familiar with this field, especially because it will only become more important today and in the future.

We shop online, we search engines like Google, Bing, etc. We have online accounts and profiles with multiple companies or websites. This information is usually stored in databases. But what is a database? What types of databases are there? How do we store, read, update or remove information from a database?

So if you're aged 15-24 and are interested in knowing exactly what a database is, what types exist and how to get started, you've come to the right place.

In this interactive workshop we will answer these questions and try out some examples with a MySQL database.

Our event is suitable for beginners and requires no previous knowledge.
