There are many programming languages that appear again and again in different areas of our lives because we live in a digital age. So if we encounter them so often, it would be useful to learn them. Not all of them, of course, but one or more that fit what you would like to do in your career.
We live in a digital age. We use websites, apps, programs on our computers. We drive cars, trains, bicycles. We are treated with equipment in the hospital. There is almost nothing we do that doesn't involve some computer program. But how are these programs written? They are written in some programming language. But which one?
Most young people wonder which programming language is best to learn. You choose a programming language not only because it is easy to learn, but you also need to consider what job or purpose you want to learn the language for.
This workshop serves more as a guide - in order to give you an understanding of programming with a programming language, we will teach you how to use one of the most popular programming languages, C#.
We will create a Powerpoint presentation explaining the common computer programs and why we chose C# for this workshop. We'll then run a demo to show you how to get the free tools you need to get started with C# programming. We then program interactively together.
