Your health, your wealth
Just like in most places in the world, the Covid-19 pandemic limits the few opportunities for encounter and exchange amongst Africans here in NRW. Lack of encounter and exchange of knowledge and experience encourages mutual distrust in society and the perpetuation of prejudices and racism.
Various studies (including the DAK study) have brought the special situation of children and adolescents to the fore again this year. Teens spend more time online. But is that qualitative? Many spend their time gaming. There is an increased risk of online addiction. Media consumption is also spread across many channels and fake news is widespread. The Corona crisis has also shown that we not only have a responsibility to stay healthy, but also to prevent others from getting sick as a result of our actions or inactivity.
With this project, we want to discuss ways of improving our health and also have discussions with experts.
