
Food consumption and lifestyle and their impact on cardiovascular diseases
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is amongst the leading causes of death globally and is a growing concern in the African community in Germany as well. Over the years, the African Community in Germany have started experiencing gradual increase of deaths related to CVD. The large-scale migrations of Africans to Germany especially in the 90s and early 2000s have seen themselves gradually aging and as a result prone to CVD.
This initiative seeks to address and remediate these problems through educating and raise awareness on their diets and lifestyle.
Objectives:
- To educate and raise awareness of CVD
- To prevent CVD
- To reduce deaths related to CVD
Approaches:
- Organisation of seminars
- Use of presentation, videos, and practical demonstration of reanimation und seek of emergency help
- Preparation of handouts to be shared
This event shall take place at the Soccer Halle in Mülheim an der Ruhr in collaboration with Kudeca e.V. The following shall be speakers and moderators of the event:

- Madam ybil Ezinne
At the end of the event we shall enjoy African culture as Kudeca E.V. launches its new uniform.
