Contact points for associations
The Arnsberg district government has a contact point for associations. More information can be found here.
The integration of people with an immigrant background is an important goal of the state government. According to the state government in North Rhine-Westphalia, there are around 2,000 migrant self-organizations (MSO) in North Rhine-Westphalia, in which both new immigrants and people with an immigrant background who have lived here for a long time come together to represent their interests.
The Arnsberg District Government's "Service Center for Migrants' Self-Organizations" advises and supports the migrants' self-organizations (MSO) based in North Rhine-Westphalia on all questions relating to the state's funding process.
By providing understandable information and materials, she helps to ensure that the application process runs smoothly and thus make the integration work easier for the MSO.
In addition, the "Servicestelle MSO" supports with information about the work of the association, gives tips on best practice models in the integration landscape and offers practical seminars and training courses.
As part of our pluralistic society, MSO perform important functions as a link between immigrants and locals, promote and strengthen social participation with their voluntary commitment and thus make a valuable contribution to integration and tolerance.
As a bridge builder between administration and voluntary work, the service point is concerned with being a reliable contact person for the MSO and providing advice so that strong project plans are actually implemented and the MSO can effectively use their existing integrative potential.
The service center for migrant organizations can be reached via the service telephone on 02931 82-5000.
