
Practical media training
On Sunday May 30th, all members of the Media team of the African Impulse e.V. for project NRW Zusammen met at the home of the president for practical lessons into what they had learnt in the weeks before.
Just before 10:00 am all members were already present. The event started with all members who had not done their Covid tests doing the test immediately on the spot. Billy Prod, all the way from Bremen, then proceeded with practical explanations of the functions of the Camera, allowing all members to have a turn in using each of the four cameras present.
After practicing with Cameras on doing photo and video shooting and taking a look of each of the film production instruments, the group then proceeded with discussions on how the first film would look like, how the scripts would look. who is fit for whatever role and what our expectations are with respect to the project goal. A test run was made , with acting and filming and the finished products were then taken to a computer. Clement Nkamanyi and Billy Prod, then continued training the users on processing the videos and photos produced using Adobe Premiere and Adobe Lightroom.
The session closed ad 05:00 Pm and members decided to continue the follow-up online and agreed to meet again physically before the end of the following month.
